Accept anonymous registrations or pre-register collecting as much information as you want. All the forms and database stuff is created for you. You can set an automatic message when users sign up offering them a coupon, a download or just a welcome message. Adding a confirmation link helps ensure that they provided a valid email address.
Secure Logins
